Make sure you have a right to vote in Bracknell
By now all eligible residents will have received their annual voters forms, it is essential they are returned to Bracknell Forest Borough Council by October 17 to ensure they have a voice in any elections from December 1.
Every home in the borough should have received the form, which sets out the information which residents are required by law to provide.
If the voters' information on the form is unchanged households should confirm their details by calling the freephone telephone number 0800 197 7684 or visit www.registerbyinternet.com/bfbc, as this saves the Council time and money and the form does not need to be sent back.
To make changes, amend the form, sign it and return it to Bracknell Council either by post or fax it to 01344 352810.
If an election is called between the end of September and when the new register of electors comes into force on December 1, special registration details will be available on the Council's website.
Cllr Iain McCracken, Executive Member for Bracknell Leisure, Corporate Services and Public Protection, said: "It is vital we hear from all households so we can ensure everyone who is entitled to a say can vote in elections.
"If you have not yet done so, please make sure the form is returned to the Council as soon as you can."
