Tutors: Matt Hill & Victoria Spearing

This year’s theme is the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party – complete with Alices, Cheshire Cats and the Mad Hatter himself. Both the junior and senior courses will attempt to create their own version of the play in just two weeks!

Over each fortnight students will create their own Wonderland, from acting, singing, dancing, through to set, lighting and sound design. In the second week of the course, they will be able to specialise in a theatre skill that will culminate in a public performance of The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.

Miss this, and you’ll be as mad as a hatter wibble!

Blackeyed Theatre presents Blue Remembered Hills
By Dennis Potter

Wed 6 – Sat 9 and Tue 12 – Fri 15 July 7.30pm

It’s the summer of 1943. Warplanes battle to control the skies of England, while in the countryside below them seven children (played by adults!) play out their own battles. But as they squabble, laugh and joke the day away, their make-believe world is about to change forever.

This brilliant play by Dennis Potter is both an hilarious and very moving story about childhood innocence and the magic we leave behind. Join Blackeyed Theatre in the beautiful grounds of South Hill Park for a memorable evening of theatre.

Enjoy a picnic before hand and bring waterproofs just in case!

Tickets £11 (£10 concessions)
