Brazilian Theatre Company at South Hill Park

Dende Collective
4-5 May
South Hill Park, Ringmead,
Bracknell, Bershire, RG12 7PA

Dende Collective, a surrealist, international theatre company perform OneFourSeven – a show for anyone who’s ever sat in a waiting room. With the action taking place around the audience and the performance in the Gallery at South Hill Park, Bracknell, this is an evening of theatre to remember. High energy, with eclectic choreography, crazy stories, absurdist humour and powerful, inventive characterisation. OneFourSeven is an evening of polyphonic physical theatre, full of strange people, beautiful images, cardboard and lots of numbers.

OneFourSeven is based on those tiny moments in everyone's existence that are caught in between waiting for the grander moments of life: birth, puberty, falling in love, ambition, marriage, death. It takes place in the mind of a young immigration officer following his non-linear memories, he descends into a premature end through the onset of testicular cancer.

This is first UK tour for this innovative not-for-profit company, funded by the Arts Council England.
