From Northern Senegal , this rising star of world music in the UK has a vocal style fairly similar to legendary Baaba Maal. His music, with its evocative harmonies and hypnotic bluesy guitar licks is so laid back you could swear he was playing on a hammock.

Probably the finest all-female folk group in the UK . The past 10 years have seen a constant evolution that in 2005 finds them at the height of their powers. Their stunning last album, Changed Days, Same Roots shows off new recruit Eilidh Shaw to awesome, show-stopping effect. Blazing fiddles indeed.

The exhilarating raw energy and thundering rhythms of the Mugenkyo Taiko drummers will shake the foundations of the Wilde Theatre. Powerful rhythms on the huge Taiko drums interweave with delicate flute, gentle bells and percussion in a visually spellbinding display of grace, choreography and athleticism.
