Originate Theatre Company continuous its tradition of accessible and innovate Shakespeare productions with a whole new take of the classical story Twelfth Night.

The upstairs/downstairs world of the Edwardian Country House is about to be turned upside down. Twins Viola and Sebastian are separated in a shipwreck and disguising herself as the servant Cesario, Viola becomes a footman to Orsino the Duke of Illyria. Viola is set the task of winning Olivia’s heart for her master although she finds herself falling in love with Orsino whilst at the same time becoming the object of Olivia’s affections… Meanwhile, with his overbearing manner and puritanical attitudes, Olivia’s butler Malvolio has antagonised other members of the household and in cahoots with Feste the clown, the disgruntled members of the household hatch a conspiracy against the pompous Malvolio.
But sometimes revenge can go too far…
