Berkshire County Blind Society - Blindfold Ten Pin Bowling Challenge

Our annual sponsored blindfold bowling challenge will be taking place at Hollywood Bowl, Bracknell, on the evening of Wednesday 27 April and we are inviting people to sign up now. Last year's event raised over £2,000 and this year we hope to raise even more.

Everyone had great fun, not least because some people found that they played better when blindfolded. 

Each team is made up of five sighted people and one visually impaired member of the Society. During the first game, the sighted players will help their visually impaired team mate to hit the target, but during the second game all six members will wear blindfolds. It costs just £10 per person to take part, which includes shoe hire, two games and a light meal. Players are also asked to seek as much sponsorship as possible from friends, relatives and work colleagues
