
The family of Bracknell 83-year-old Leslie Frewen are asking for the public’s help in locating their much-loved father and grandfather, who was reported missing on Sunday (15/8).
Bracknell Leslie is married to Jean and has two daughters and four grandchildren aged between 12 and 18.
He was an Army cadet and then served with the Grenadier Guards from 1945 to 1948. Leslie returned to civilian life for eight years before rejoining the Army in 1956 as a member of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME).
In 1967 Leslie left the REME and joined the Post Office, where he worked until his retirement in 1988.
His family said:
"Jean, Leigh, Erika, their family and friends would like your help in trying to trace Leslie Edward Frewen, aged 83. He was last seen on Sunday 15 August at approximately 3.45pm in County Lane, Bracknell, heading towards Tesco. He was wearing a fawn zipper jacket, navy blue trousers and black lace-up shoes.
"If you have seen him, know of his whereabouts or have any information that may help us to locate him, we urge you please to contact the police.
"We miss him and love him very much. We are desperate to know that he is safe and we want him back home with us as soon as possible."
As of 1pm today (19/8) Mr Frewen has not been found and the Bracknell police search continues.
